Description

In the wake of the Civil War, there are still many criminals that need to be dealt with by the justice system. And one man, Matthias Breecher, is given the heavy responsibility of taking many Confederates to task. Being a detective of this kind is harder than he even anticipated. Danger lurks around every corner, and sometimes it comes in unexpected packages. When he meets a mysterious pioneer woman, suddenly it becomes how obvious just how precarious his position is.
